(OOC)Question, how does the removal of exceptional and addition of the arms lore gain change this pricing structure and does this apply to only weapons or is this working for armour too?(/OOC)

I've had a thought about forges, specifically portable ones, would it be possible to make a portable forge, maybe using the brazier graphic that weighs something silly like 150 so its only really usable for long mining expeditions (may make some good roll play, a three day mining camp )  not something folks would leave in their bag all the time as its far to heavy to lug around but can load up supplies and a forge in a packhorse  and go for a trip, that way can make proper mining expeditions to the far mountains and such more viable for events etc or even just hiring someone  as a bodyguard for the trip and going for a re-stock of resources.

I'm thinking something that uses fuel, say 1 bag of charcoal keeps it burning for about the same time as a camp fire to use for smelting then you would need to re-load it with more charcoal

You could make a bag of charcoal requiring say 10 wood used on a camp fire to char it and weighing say 15

So you set out with a load of bags of charcoal, your portable forge and your pile of pick axes, that's basically your pack horse full when you set off then as you use charcoal and picks whilst your out the weight gets used and you come back with leftovers, your forge and your Iron.

Also first aid kits got me thinking, veterinary supplies that allow you to use your healing skill and anat instead of animal lore and vet to take care of pets such as pack horses, similar sort of cost to make single shot as the first aid kits but do a bandages worth of healing to a pet so still expensive enough that a proper vet char can make a good roll but useful to keep things ticking over until one gets made maybe?

I will admit that the lack of stamina regen on undead has cost me many times on Hew and whist a total refresh substitute such as a necro spell would be nice I'd rather have spirit speak regen the same as say eating a steak as well as heal to be able to contine chasing folks down if it's an either or situation but I think with a long enough cool down on the total refresh spell the two together would be the equivilent to someone with a pile of food and one or two refresh pots bought from an alchemist which is reasonable rather than the keg of total refresh analogy used by Rotip

the only problem with that is you need mana to heal so if you have a spell for it your taking from your healing pool where as living can just drop a total refresh pot and have a bandage going at the same time as well as heal and cure pots kinda at a major advantage over the undead

on a different note undead and stamina, now that special moves are in the shard undead need some way of regening stamina to be able to use them, currently the ways of food or potions can not be used as you get the msg about not having a working digestive system. I've not really worried about it too much up until now though it has caused my undead several deaths due to not being able to run.

im not sure which would be best reintroduction of focus or make ss regen some stamina as well as health or a refresh style necro spell would be my suggestions.

Aside from the whole thief thing which i only brought up as an example and as i say am dealing with IC my main point which seems to have got lost is the need for more variety now we are starting to fill up our fishbowl, we still have new people joining so need easy areas for those and none combat crafter chars and the harder spawn for more trained chars and even larger for groups with some area to explore, we have all been around the current area a fair bit now so opening up a passage to despise for example might be a good way to expand the area

as someone with a fair amount of gold stored up and then stolen by the milita how do i complain to the milita? that isnt an option for my char and i spent a lot of in game hours collecting that gold from chest spawns i doubt even a quarter of the amount has gone missing from folks that have been robbed by the verius lp chars as was taken from me as "evidence" so there is not always a recourse to go to for that and due to the low levels of gold in the game most folk cant afford to buy armour all the time so your kind of playing it from both sides there, do you want folk to be able to buy armour and keep the economy going or do you want them to have a low gold society?

i think i have reasonable prices on althy especially since i do most business as trade for resources and make very little gold on top of which i employ other players to try to promote rp by giving them reasons to be in a situation where groups should gather i do this at a loss because i want this to be a good shard and feel i can help in this way i also have hopes for a shop where i can employ more staff and take on some apprentices to promote rp that way and all of this comes out of gold i have saved up by long hours of toil and can be gone in five seconds from a thief. im not asking for nothing to be stealable not even for enough space to store all my resources not even all my gold im saying space to store some of my gold and a few basics to restart if all else is lost is a sensible thing
