Please post any bugs or problems you encounter here!
The list of currently known bugs / planned improvements can be found here.
If you find any containers/looms/etc that should be usable but aren't, please inform Linaeus. This is likely because they were added as statics, and need to be replaced with actual items.

Barracks could use some storage functionality. Maybe put some crates on top of the bed full of leather.

I'll sort that out tonight. Also, there are -four- beds. The two visible ones are actually the upper bunks. I'll remove the loose equipment that's lying around and move it into a crate in non-static form.

OK new bug for you, I was down fighting brigands and picked up a few weapons fine then tried to pick one up and equip it and it vanished, I hit like it was equipped but all weapons I picked up thereafter vanished as soon as I put them in my bag. once I got safe I logged out and back in and the one I had equipped was now normal and in my hand but the rest hand not appeared in my bag.
Was logged in with hew at the time if that helps

Sounds like an issue with RunUO, honestly. I've had it do similar things a few times, and it generally seems to be an issue of slight desynchronization between the server and your machine. Not really sure what can be done about it.

The blacksmithy porch needs its acoustics checked. Seems like on a lot of tiles players can't hear each other, despite being a few paces away, or even next to each other. Makes roleplaying a tad difficult, unless we're all suddenly deafened by the sound of the forge! ;p

I like that explanation, and I'm not sure I can fix it without completely rebuilding the shop...and even then, it'll probably be broken. I've noticed that a lot of the houses have similar problems.

Not sure its a bug or simply how combat worked back in the day (preaos) but my damage seems to be very inconsistent. With my bow I do from 1 to 22ish damage. And its basicly the same with my axe. Seems to be against anything, ive hit a bird with 1 dmg and a brigand with 22 and vice versa.
Offline
Yeah, that's a product of the wacky pre-AoS combat system as far as we've been able to tell.

As Haap already said, damage dealing is pretty much random, no matter what weapon you use, skills you have nor how high or low strengh is.
As for other things I've noted:
The BandageSelf and BandageTarget Macros don't work. Also still a huge issue with skills. For example, Arms Lore doesn't raise any higher than 10.1 at all. Also skill gain is pretty much random too, like no matter what you hit, your weapon skills are bound to gain. But I guess that's not a big issue, since the strongest enemy you can encounter so far are bone knights.

They work fine for me. Make sure you have Push To UO checked.

The bandageself and bandagetarget macros in the Ultima Online Options don't work, they do however work with razor. Go to the Hotkey tab, expand the Item category and highlight Bandageself, choose a hotkey and Set it.
Then you will also get a timer to tell you your bandage is in the process of being applied.

Ily, when you say the macros don't work, do you mean the razor ones, or the Ultima ones? It could be that while the new client has them listed (they were brought in in a relatively recent update, I believe, with the new targeting system), the server doesn't have the code to support them.
Can anyone verify the issue with arms lore not raising?
Offline
I gmed armslore just a day or so ago. It raised while I was crafting bows and while I was loring items. Its not unheard of that some skills manage to lock themselves on individual characters(bug), it has happened to me on Europa. And a GM had to come and "tickle" me. True story.
Offline
Hmm, odd. At least we can blame EA instead of me, then.
Ily, give me a shout when you're online (and I'm not at work) and I'll come see if we can get you moving again.

The Bandage macros work now with razor. Thanks for the info.
As for Arms Lore: I raised it to 10.1 with using the skill active. I dunno if the pre-AoS Ultima Online only raised Arms Lore with crafting weapons, but it didn't gain any yet with tailoring / crafting leather armour.
@Hoagie
I'll try to catch you tomorrow. So low on time...
Offline
you need to use fresh items to get gains cant just keep using the same one if that helps
Offline
Theres an antimacro code in place, makes so you can only gain 0.3 armslore per item in a given time, so if you wait say 30 minutes you may gain another 0.3 from that item, but its easier to change items, for instance as you craft.

I didn't get a single Point by crafting armour yet. So I guess that's not the Problem.
Offline
Hm. Currently arms lore only adds a bonus to weapons, so it's possible that you only gain from making weapons.
Offline
Not sure if it's a bug, or intentional Poison Strike Nerf, but the Necro book says it only costs 17 mana, but it costs all of my meager 33 mana. While it also only costs 17 EP.
Offline
That is not intentional, hmm. I'll look into it, thank you!

@Erjana: Make sure you have your options set up to display gains. >_>

bola's don't work whether all hands full, or all hands empty just says you need a free hand

I've noticed that a lot of the houses have similar problems.
Thats because their built with statics(by a gm) and not by a worldbuilder tool. *snickers*
